Regular tires or reinforced tires

If you have a small trailer with a maximum load capacity of 750 kg, regular tires are sufficient. Trailers with a load capacity higher than 750 kg we recommend choosing reinforced tires. Reinforced tires can be recognized by a double load index (e.g. 104/101N) Typical of these tires is their durability and extra safety while driving. These tires are suitable for large trailers, a boat trailer or caravan.

Determine which band you are using now

An easy way to replace your tires is to look at your current tire size. That way you can find the right replacement very quickly in our selection. Look at the sizes, values and types listed on the side of the tire. From this you can tell a lot of different things. This information comes in a sequence that looks something like this: 140/70 R13 86N

140: width of the tire in mm
70: height ratio in % to width (70% of 140mm)
R: R stands for radial and D stands for diagonal. These should never alternate on the same axis.
13: diameter of the wheel inch rim
86: LI or load index says how much weight a tire can carry (86 = 530 kg)
N: the speed index or speed code expresses maximum permissible speed (N = 140 km/h)
